In order to ensure the smooth convening of the conference and achieve high results, the organizers held the first preparatory meeting in Zhengzhou, China on July 30, 2013.

Wang Mingyuan, Secretary-General and Chen Yuandong, Deputy Secretary-General of the Coated Abrasives Branch of China Machine Tool and Tool Industry Association, Hu Aili, Chairman of the Coated Abrasives Branch of China Machine Tool and Tool Industry Association, Huang Yun, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Chongqing University, Materials Science of Henan University of Technology Together with Zou Wenjun, Dean and Professor of the School of Engineering, Li Daoyu and Li Yanxian, members of the Expert Committee of the China Coated Abrasives Association, Dai Hongjun, Director of the Expert Committee of the China Abrasives Association, Zhao Xinli, Vice President of the Sixth Design Institute of the Machinery Industry, and Liu Jinchang, general manager of Abrasives Network, and relevant personnel attended the preparatory meeting.

This international forum is the only large-scale professional forum in the industry in recent years. It not only came into being, but also a "timely rain" in the industry. Its arrival will push the industry to a new level.

The preparatory meeting was held in a warm and friendly cooperative atmosphere. All parties participating in the meeting fully exchanged views on various activities that need to be carried out during the first International Forum on Abrasive Belt Grinding Technology and Equipment in 2013, especially on the selection of topics and partners. Full discussions were held on the invitation, the formulation and registration of theme reports and special reports, the implementation plan of the specific division of labor for project undertakings, and the theme of the forum, and consensus was reached on the main issues. Representatives from all parties spoke actively, put forward many constructive opinions, and expressed that they would cooperate closely and work together to ensure that the first International Forum on Abrasive Belt Grinding Technology and Equipment in 2013 is held smoothly and successfully.
